Purpose of this module

The Carbon Reporting module within NZC Portal is designed to support landlords, property owners, asset managers, and investment funds in monitoring, managing, and reporting carbon performance across property portfolios.

The module provides a consolidated view of emissions, performance metrics, and disclosures aligned to key regulatory and voluntary frameworks.

This module enables users to:

• View portfolio, asset, and building-level carbon performance
• Produce structured carbon summaries for investor and regulatory reporting
• Track progress against Net Zero and decarbonisation targets
• Maintain consistent metrics across diverse assets and portfolios

The module typically draws on:

• Energy consumption data from buildings and sites
• Fuel and refrigerant data where applicable
• Asset attributes including size, use type, and EPC information
• Configuration settings aligned to reporting boundaries and methodologies

Inputs can be uploaded, integrated, or managed manually depending on portfolio requirements.

The module produces clear, decision-ready outputs, including:
